SKY is committed to ensuring every subscriber receives the upgrade and making this transition as smooth and seamless as possible.

  • Authorized SKY representatives will be in your area for home visits to replace your current modem and/or SKY Digibox with upgraded equipment at no additional cost. Our team will reach out to you on the final schedule of the visit depending on your area.
  • Please note that your SKY account will remain active, and services will continue as usual until the network upgrade is completed. To avail of the FREE upgrade and avoid any service interruptions, please ensure your account remains in good credit standing by fully settling your bill on time.
  • After your upgrade, any existing add-on subscriptions and discounts will be discontinued and will no longer be applied to your bill.

About the Commercial Agreement

SKY Cable Corp. has entered into a commercial arrangement with leading Philippine fiber broadband provider Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions, Inc. that will enable SKY to upgrade its network and improve services to its subscribers.

This arrangement allows SKY to use the fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network of Converge, allowing SKY’s customers to experience access to broadband plans with faster speeds and more reliable internet service.

About the Upgrade

Only active SKY subscribers with no overdue balance are qualified for the FREE upgrade.

If you have any outstanding balance or unpaid arrears, we encourage you to fully settle any arrears as soon as possible to qualify for this free upgrade.

The schedule will depend on your area. Please expect an authorized SKY representative to contact you for the final date. If you have not yet requested for an upgrade, send us a request via fiberupgrade.mysky.com.ph..

No, you don’t need to pay anything for the equipment upgrade or modem installation. There are no upfront or installation fees. Any authorized SKY representative will not ask for payment, as the equipment upgrade is FREE. If a SKY representative or contractor requests payment for the equipment upgrade, please report them to SKY via KYLA at mysky.com.ph/message-us.

As SKY transitions to a pure fiber-to-the-home network and IPTV technology, the equipment upgrade is required to continue accessing our services. If you choose not to avail of the upgrade, your service will end on or before March 15, 2025.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of the FREE network and equipment upgrade as this will allow you to enjoy the benefits of a pure FTTH network and a leveled-up entertainment experience.

About the Changes to Your Subscription

We are no longer offering SKY Fiber Unli Broadband + HD Cable TV bundle plans but you may continue to avail both services by converting to a standalone SKY TruFiber plan with boosted speeds, paired with the our Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service, SKY TV.

Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) is a technology that delivers television content over the internet. With SKY’s network upgrade, the broadcast of your cable TV service will now be via fiber technology.

SKY TV is a value-added service (VAS) that delivers TV content via Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) technology through SKY TruFiber. It offers a complete home entertainment experience, allowing you to enjoy live TV channels, access OTT streaming platforms, download Google apps, play games, connect your devices and more – all through the SKY TV box.

No. SKY TV is a value-added service (VAS) that requires a SKY TruFiber connection so you may enjoy watching channels from your SKY TV plan. It won’t work with other internet service providers (ISP).

However, if you already have an existing ISP, SKY TruFiber can serve as a backup, ensuring you stay connected when your primary internet plan experiences issues.

Any existing Select channels and/or packs will be discontinued once the upgrade is completed.

You may also retain up to three (3) enrolled additional outlets per account at ₱99/month per additional outlet, provided you are subscribed to any SKY TV plan.

About Billing

SKY remains as your service provider and biller. You may settle your account through any of the accredited payment partners listed at mysky.com.ph/paymentcenters.
