Following our commercial arrangement with Converge that allows SKY to upgrade its network by tapping the state-of-the-art fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network of Converge, we can bring you next-level entertainment.
As part of the upgrade, SKYcable is transitioning to delivering cable TV content over SKY TruFiber via our new Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service, SKY TV. This will enable you to enjoy high picture quality of TV channels, on-demand content, and seamless integration with your favorite OTT services, all through a pure fiber internet connection.
What will happen to your current subscription?
For you to continue enjoying both cable channels and OTT services, we recommend SKY TV, our IPTV add-on to be paired with a SKY TruFiber plan. As we transition to IPTV technology, traditional SKYcable service and plans will no longer be offered.

SKY is committed to ensuring every subscriber receives the upgrade and making this transition as smooth and seamless as possible.
- Authorized SKY representatives will be in your area for home visits to install a modem and replace your current SKY Digibox with upgraded equipment at no additional cost. Our team will reach out to you on the final schedule of visit depending on your area.
- Please note that your SKY account will remain active, and services will continue as usual until the network upgrade is completed. To avail of the FREE upgrade and avoid any service interruptions, please ensure your account remains in good credit standing by fully settling your bill on time.
- After your upgrade, any existing add-on subscriptions and discounts will be discontinued and will no longer be applied to your bill.

What is the commercial arrangement between SKY and Converge about?
SKY Cable Corp. has entered into a commercial arrangement with leading Philippine fiber broadband provider Converge Information and Communications Technology Solutions, Inc. that will enable SKY to upgrade its network and improve services to its subscribers.
This arrangement allows SKY to use the fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network of Converge, allowing SKY’s customers to experience access to broadband plans with faster speeds and more reliable internet service.About the Upgrade
Who are qualified for the free upgrade?
Only active SKY subscribers with no overdue balance are qualified for the FREE upgrade.

Do I need to pay anything for the technology upgrade?
What will happen if I don’t avail of the technology upgrade?
As SKY transitions to a pure fiber-to-the-home network, the equipment upgrade is required to continue accessing our services. As we transition to IPTV technology, traditional SKYcable service and plans will no longer be offered. If you choose not to avail of the upgrade, your service will end on or before March 15, 2025.

No. SKY TV is a value-added service (VAS) that requires a SKY TruFiber connection so you may enjoy watching channels from your SKY TV plan. It won’t work with other internet service providers (ISP).
However, if you already have an existing ISP, SKY TruFiber can serve as a backup, ensuring you stay connected when your primary internet plan experiences issues.How do I avail of SKY TruFiber and SKY TV plan?
What will happen to my existing cable add-ons?
Any existing Select channels and/or packs will be discontinued once the upgrade is completed.
You may also retain up to three (3) enrolled additional outlets per account at ₱99/month per additional outlet, provided you are subscribed to any SKY TV plan.About Billing
