What is fiber technology?
A technology that uses glass or plastic threads (fibers) to transmit data. It is better than copper wires (used by DSL) and coaxial cable.
What do you mean by fiber-powered?
Fiber-powered means that SKY uses a combination of fiber optics and coaxial cable in delivering internet connection to your home. Fiber optics from the main source of signal, and coaxial cable going to the subscriber premises.
Can I still apply for an additional One SKYbroadband plan even if I am an existing One SKY Premium plan subscriber?
Yes, you can apply for an additional One SKY broadband plan so long as your account status is current, submit the required document/s and pay the initial cash-out requirement to the contractor.
Can I request for a separate SOA?
Yes, you can. Please note that having a separate SOA will mean different cut-off dates, due dates and account numbers.
Do I automatically gain access to SKY On Demand when I subscribe to any of these plans?
You will be required to register to SKY On Demand to enjoy this service. After a successful registration, you will only be required to log-in every time you access this service.
