Overview of the EoPT Law
Signed into law on January 5, 2024, the Ease of Paying Taxes (EoPT) Law, also known as RA 11976, is aimed at simplifying the tax filing process. Know more about the EoPT Law here.

Changes to your SKY Bill
To comply with the EoPT Law, SKY is implementing the following changes to your SKY bill effective immediately:

Your Statement of Account will now be referred to as "Billing Invoice."

The Official Receipt will be replaced by the Collection Receipt as proof of payment for SKY service.

No, this is not a printing error.
As a Computerized Accounting Systems (CAS) registered taxpayer with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), we are currently in the process of updating our system to comply with the requirements of Revenue Regulations (RR) 7-2024 which requires a VAT-registered taxpayer such as SKY to issue a billing invoice. Your SKY bill will be presented in this manner until we secure our permits to print invoices from BIR and complete our system reconfiguration. Then, we will issue the duly-registered VAT invoice once available. Be assured that your SKY bill remains a valid document that serves as a basis for your payables for your SKY service.
Will you still issue an Official Receipt for my payments?
Yes, we will issue a proof of payment in the form of a Collection Receipt upon your request.
You may notice that the words "Official Receipt" have been covered and the words "Collection Receipt" stamped on our printed Official Receipt forms while we are securing permits to print duly-registered collection receipts.
Be assured that this document serves as a valid proof of payment for your SKY service.
