Parasite

The movie that redefined Southeast Asian Cinema, Parasite is a South Korean black comedy-thriller, co-written and directed by Bong Joon-ho. It follows the members of a poor family who scheme to become employed by a wealthy host. To get in, they pose as unrelated, highly qualified individuals, and what unfolds is an incredible story of wit that offers deep insight into the country’s social divide. Since making its debut, Parasite has garnered numerous accolades, winning Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy awards.
