As part our commitment to improve the way we provide service to you, our customers, we will be transitioning to a new and improved billing system. Our new system will enable us to provide improved customer service, adapt to changing customer needs and deliver operational efficiencies, making your SKY experience simpler and more convenient.

These are some effects of the migration to the new billing system to watch out for:

1. New statement date and due date

Reducing our billing cycles is one of the necessary actions as we move into a new billing system. This means that you will have a new statement date (when your bill is generated) and a new due date (when you need to pay your bill). Moving forward, you may still expect to receive your SKY bills at least ten days before your due date.

2. Proration

Due to the change in your bill period, proration may be applied to your subscription fee which may slightly increase or decrease your amount due in the first month of implementation of the new billing cycles.

3. Separate billing for SKY services

Subscribers who availed of both SKYcable and SKY Fiber, you will now receive two (2) separate billing statements for your cable TV and home internet services. We will also exert all efforts to ensure that you receive both bills at the same time.

b. Proration

In the first month of implementation of your new bill cycle, proration may be applied to your subscription fee which might slightly increase your bill’s amount due for this month. Your amount due will return to your normal regular subscription fee in your next bills. After the first month of implementation, you may expect to receive only one bill at least ten days before your due date.

The due date is 20 days after the statement date and is generally fixed. Please refer to the table below for the new due dates corresponding to the new statement dates:

There will only be 5 statement days which in turn dictates the due date. Thus only the due dates corresponding to these bill generation days are possible.

A letter has been sent to your existing billing address detailing your new statement and due dates as well as other changes which may be applied to your bill. An email was also sent to your registered email address. Should you have further queries, please send us a message by filling out the webform at mysky.com.ph/contact-us.

No, there will be no price increase arising from this reduction of bill cycles. Any change in your amount due is because of the proration applied to your monthly subscription fee as a result of the changes in the days covered in your new bill cycle.

There will be no changes applied to your subscription to SKY services arising from this reduction of bill cycles.

Your subscription fee will not change. Any change in your amount due is because of the proration applied to your monthly subscription fee as a result of the changes in the days covered in your new bill cycle.

On Billing Period

The new billing period indicated in the letter sent to you will be applied moving forward.

To soften the impact of the new bill cycle on your experience, we migrated you to the cycle nearest to your existing bill period.

Bill Delivery

If you are enrolled to SKY e-Bill, you will receive your bill on your statement date. If you have opted to receive your bill in print, you may expect it within five to seven days from your statement date.

Disconnection

During this transition, as long as your payment is updated and any amount dues are paid prior to the due date, you may be assured that your SKY service will not be disconnected.

Service disconnection will be processed if outstanding balance remains unpaid four days after due date. We encourage you to pay on or before your due date to avoid inconvenience and enjoy continuous service. You may refer to mysky.com.ph/paymentcenters for various bill payment options.

Statement of Account (SOA)

Your first bill will reflect your new statement date and bill due date. The prorated charges will be detailed accordingly.

Please refer to the letter and email sent for details on the statement date, bill period, and due date
